Why Fujifilm
So, why did I choose Fujifilm and why I’m not moving or investing into any other system at the moment.
For now I am fully invested into the Fuji eco system, I love what it has to offer, the styling is on point and the images it produces is what I’m looking for.
Now this is my first “Proper” camera and I’m sure I will go through many in my time with photography, but there is something about this system that I think I can see myself sticking with.
Is it the ease of use?
Is it the fact that I can customise my shooting style with different film simulations?
Is it the fact that the camera bodies feel quite perfect in hand and are quite discreet and not in your face?
Or, Is it the fact that it’s retro styling makes me feel like picking the camera up, because they look so dam cool…?
I think it’s all the reasons above and probably many more. For me, the camera feels right, and the eco-system fits my needs perfectly. Now, will I want to move to Full Frame, maybe, but Fuji's offering of Medium Format might just be the deciding factor on why I maybe don’t need to even think about going to Full Frame?
To round it off, I think Fuji covers not all, but a lot of basis on why I'm in love with their systems and I can see myself sticking around with them for years to come.
